People ask me how I walk that many dogs at once. The honest answer is that I do not walk a group, I walk a set of friends who already know each other. They sort themselves out.
We go out whatever the weather. Treats come out, everybody sits, and then off we go again. By the time we are home they are ready for a long sleep, which is exactly the point.

Late afternoon is when the garden goes quiet. The little ones claim the sofa, the big ones stretch out where the sun is, and nobody wants to move until dinner.
An Akita, a Maltese and a cockapoo sharing one sofa is not something I planned. It is just what happens when dogs are given time to get used to each other.

My house is a house, not a kennel. There are beds, there is a sofa, and there are dogs asleep on both.
Owners worry that their dog will not settle somewhere new. Most of them are asleep within the hour. The ones who take longer get to stay near me until they are ready, and that is what the trial day is for: to find out which sort your dog is before they stay the night.

Some days need more running than a garden can hold, so we go to the field. Balls, zoomies, a bit of showing off, and one or two who would rather sit with me and watch.
I send photos from the field while it is happening. You should not have to wonder how your dog is doing while you are at work.
